TAILOR TIME: Kris Van Assche is going sartorial for spring, with a new upscale line, Krisvanassche+, to be presented to buyers on the sidelines of the brand’s showroom in Paris during the men’s collections. The compact line comprises a long and a short jacket, two shirts, a sweatshirt, T-shirt, three pairs of trousers, a tie and two backpacks, the latter created in association with Eastpak.
Available in several fabrications and color ways, all items are tailored using traditional methods and more luxurious fabrics than the main collection. Kris Van Assche plans to offer the collection to between 20 and 25 of its top retailers worldwide. Retail prices for the line, which is hit stores in mid-November, will range from 150 to 1,700 euros, or between $187 and $2,122 at current exchange.
