Turnbull & Asser's Next Steps

The London shirt-maker has plenty of plans afoot for the coming season, including presenting a collection during the London Collections: Men shows in June.

TURNBULL & ASSER’S NEXT STEPS: London shirt-maker Turnbull & Asser has plenty of plans afoot for the coming season. For the first time, the label will present a collection during the London Collections: Men shows in June, with a presentation of its spring 2015 line at its new Mayfair headquarters June 17. The show follows the appointment of Turnbull & Asser’s new head of design, Dean Gomilsek-Cole, whose first collection is for fall 2014 and spotlights bold colors and prints. The new London headquarters will open in time for the presentation in a 5,400-square-foot space on Mayfair’s South Street. The four-story building has been designed by London-based interior design and architecture firm Shed, and will house Turnbull & Asser’s design team, showroom and offices.

Nigel Blow, managing director of Turnbull & Asser, said: “Showing at London Collections: Men in our new headquarters is an important step for the brand. London is not only the home of Turnbull & Asser but of traditional men’s wear and a new hub of men’s wear creativity, of which we are excited to be a part.” And next spring, the label will open its second U.S. store, a 600-square-foot space that will be located in New York’s World Trade Centre. The label’s current stockists include Mr. Porter, Bloomingdales and Bergdorf Goodman and the line will launch at Harrods and Selfridges in London for fall 2014.
