TRAPANI ROBBED: Francesco Trapani, president of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s watch and jewelry division and Bulgari’s former chief executive officer, was robbed Sunday night in Rome, according to a spokeswoman for the city’s police. Two young men with their faces hidden behind motorcycle helmets approached Trapani in the garage of his apartment building and threatened him with screwdrivers, before grabbing his wallet and a Bulgari watch worth 18,000 euros, or $23,352 at current exchange, and fleeing aboard their scooter. Police officers soon arrived on the scene and are currently reviewing video footage from security cameras to identify the assailants. Trapani was unhurt.
