BICESTER VILLAGE TRAGEDY: A four-year-old child has died from injuries incurred after a mirror in the Hugo Boss shop at Bicester Village fell on him. Hugo Boss said it would assist authorities investigating the incident. According to a statement from Boss, the incident occurred on Tuesday, and the boy died over the weekend.
“Everyone at Hugo Boss is devastated by this tragic accident and we would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to his family. All of our thoughts are with them at this time. Hugo Boss will assist the authorities in any way with an investigation into the accident,” the statement said.
Value Retail, which owns Bicester Village, said in a separate statement: “Everyone at Bicester Village is deeply saddened by this tragic accident. We send our heartfelt condolences to the family, and our thoughts and prayers are with them. The matter is now under investigation and there is no further comment at this time.”
