TORY PARTY: "I'm wearing Tory top to toe," said Santa Montefiore at a dinner Tuesday night at Hakkasan in London. But Montefiore, dressed in a blue cardigan and trousers, wasn't referring to any political party, but to the hostess Tory Burch, who celebrated the opening of her first London store with a dinner for more than 100 guests. “We Brits can do hardcore glamour," said Joely Richardson. "What this city can use is some casual glamour, and that's what Tory delivers." Guests including Rena Sindi, John Frieda, Avery Agnelli, Allegra Hicks, Ashley Hicks, Laura Bailey and Debbie von Bismarck gathered for a cocktail at the store on New Bond Street — a former haberdashery — and then made the short hike to Bruton Street for a meal of dumplings, sea bass and spicy beef. "We've been friends for years and I'm so proud — and inspired by her," said Sindi.
