TEMPORARY DIGS: British high street retailer Topshop is opening a pop-up shop at Paris department store Galeries Lafayette as a prelude to its highly anticipated arrival in the French capital, for which no date has been set. Between Feb. 11 and March 2, the temporary space will occupy 375 square feet on the second floor of Galeries Lafayette’s Boulevard Haussmann flagship, selling a selection of items from Topshop’s spring-summer 2013 collection.
A window display featuring three mannequins dressed in Topshop outfits will be unveiled on Feb. 13. Topshop is said to be looking for a permanent location in Paris, although no timeframe has been defined.
