TOE TAPPING: Sock maker Richer Poorer has become a little richer via new investor Patrick Carney of the blues rock band The Black Keys. Carney met Richer Poorer founders Tim Morse and Iva Pawling through his father-in-law and took a stake in the Capistrano, Calif.-based brand. “I’d never invested in anything outside of stocks and real estate. Something as wholesome as socks sounded like a great idea to me,” said Carney. The colorful brand is sold at Nordstrom, Kitson Men and Saturdays Surf, as well as online.
