Men in Los Angeles can now be part of a new club. On Friday night, Tod’s celebrated opening of the J.P. Club at its store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, a venue where customers can be privately guided through J.P. Tod’s sartorial collection of customizable shoes and bags in Tod’s highest quality leather. “In L.A., people know how to spend their free time in the best way. The J.P. Club creates a welcoming and exclusive environment in which customers can benefit from the assistance of dedicated staff that can advise on leathers, sizes, and details of every kind,” said Claudio Castiglioni, general manager of Tod’s. The sartorial collection has a total of five bag and shoe styles, including lace-up, monk strap, and loafer shoes and double stripe bags. The price range for the shoes is $1,500 to $1,900, and the bags are over $2,000. In addition to Beverly Hills, Tod’s sartorial collection is available in Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai and Milan, where Tod’s launched its club concept. The L.A. club has a local touch, Castiglioni said, elaborating, “There is a beautiful outside terrace with custom furniture, which is unique to L.A. and very relevant to L.A. because of the wonderful weather.” L.A.’s wonderful weather wasn’t on display Friday, however, and Ed Westwick, Eduardo Ponti, Mamie Gummer, Jeanne Yang and Tate Taylor were among those who braved the rain for the debut of the J.P. Club.
