MAYFAIR MEN: Thom Whiddet and Luke Sweeney, the bespoke tailors behind Thom Sweeney, have signed a lease for their second store in London, at 33A Bruton Place in Mayfair. It will open in the fall.
The 922-square-foot store, in the former Pauric Sweeney space (the two brands are not related) will stock the Thom Sweeney ready-to-wear collection, which is built around a seasonal, essential wardrobe of around 20 pieces. Items will also be available as made-to-measure.
The pair is also planning to do seasonal collaborations with brands for categories including luggage, and will stock Thom Sweeney ties, pocket squares, shirts and knitwear.
Thom Sweeney currently sells rtw on Mr Porter, and has a bespoke shop on Weighhouse Street in Mayfair.
