CHANEL CAPER: The Chanel boutique in London’s South Kensington was hit by a trio of men early Friday, a bank holiday in the U.K., according to British press reports. Police are searching for three men who drove a stolen Audi Q7 into the front window of the Chanel boutique at the store in Brompton Cross, and stole about 26 bags worth more than 50,000 pounds, or $84,150. No arrests have been made. The store has estimated damages of 25,000 pounds, or $42,000. Neither the police nor the Chanel press office returned phone calls on Tuesday.
