THE VIEW FROM VERSACE: Versace will mark the launch of a new capsule eyewear collection for spring, called Etoile de la Mer, with a dinner in Paris on Jan. 23, the night of the brand’s first couture show since 2004.
Donatella Versace and Vogue Paris editor in chief Emmanuelle Alt will host a dinner at Lasserre with guests including Abbie Cornish, Ludivine Sagnier, Daphne Guinness and Riccardo Tisci.
For the first time, the name of a specific product, the Etoile de la Mer, will appear on Versace’s ad campaign images, featuring Gisele Bündchen photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in California.
