THE DUCHESS IN DENMARK: The Duchess of Cambridge decked herself in red on Wednesday for an official visit to the UNICEF emergency supply center in Copenhagen. The duchess, who traveled to Denmark with her husband, Prince William, in the couple’s first joint humanitarian mission, wore a deep red L.K. Bennett wool coat with military-style epaulettes, which she accessorized with a wide maroon leather belt and knee-high black boots.
UNICEF uses the center to help distribute food and medical supplies to famine-hit East Africa. The royal couple made their visit with the aim of maintaining global attention on the crisis in the region, Clarence House said. The duke and duchess, together with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, toured the UNICEF center and helped pack supply boxes with medicines. Following their tour, the duke and duchess attended a private UNICEF reception before their expected return to the U.K. later Wednesday.
