O PIONEERS!: The Centre for Fashion Enterprise, the London-based business incubator, has chosen six designers to take part in the latest edition of the New Fashion Pioneer initiative. They are Alan Taylor, Ashley Williams, Edeline Lee, Nicomede Talavera, Helen Lawrence and Itokawa Film. The designers will receive free legal, business, sales and branding advice, and intellectual property and accoutancy guidance. To qualify, designers need to have been operational for at least one year, earn a minimum of 10,000 pounds, or $17,000 in annual revenue, and have five stockists or more worldwide. The CFE is supported by the London College of Fashion, the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, and the international law firm Olswang. The program runs for six months and past participants include Emma Shipley, Craig Green, and Huishan Zhang.
