The Art of Elysium celebrated its committee for next year's Heaven Gala with a dinner at Sunset Tower, hosted by Gilt Group Wednesday night.
"I didn't know much about charity, which isn't really a hip thing to say," deadpanned Topher Grace. "And, I'm really self-centered. But meeting kids who benefit from this organization changed that."
Ali Larter, Elijah Wood, Eva Mendes, Alicia Witt and other actors who teach art to hospitalized kids also turned out for the dinner.
Actress Bonnie Somerville raised $15,000 in one week for the charity by calling everyone she knew. "I called producers who paid me nothing and said, 'You know that movie I did for no money? Well, I need you to give me money now.'"
