TAVI IN TOKYO: Fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson is gearing up to meet one of her designer idols: Rei Kawakubo. The 13-year-old, who pens the blog, ‘Style Rookie’, will be the guest of honor at Comme des Garcons’ holiday party on Friday November 27 at the 10 Corso Como store in Tokyo. Gevinson is arriving early next week with her mother and she has a series of photo shoots with Japanese magazines lined up for the week, according to a CDG spokesman. At the party, she will field questions from guests and pose for more snaps. Gevinson describes herself on her site as someone who  “scatters black petals on Rei Kawakubo's doorsteps and serenades her in rap.” She’ll finally get her chance.
