TAKE TWO: Zahia Dehar is steadily building up a fan club for her skimpy creations. Guests at the curvaceous former tabloid sensation’s second couture lingerie show Monday evening expressed their support. “I love this girl. I love her life story, and what she does is very pretty, too,” said Béatrice Dalle. Emmanuelle Béart, sitting next to her, added it is the brand’s “femininity” that makes it appealing.
Dalle and Béart are seemingly inseparable since they starred together in “Bye Bye Blondie” earlier this year.
As for current projects, Dalle confided, “I’m doing a Mocky movie,” referring to cynical French director Jean-Pierre Mocky.
“I’m here purely out of curiosity, because I heard that the last show was sumptuous,” fellow actress Zoé Félix said. She recently took her first steps as a singer, on a collaborative album “ElleSonParis” on which 20 French actresses sing about the different districts of the French capital. “I love singing, but I’m an amateur,” said Félix.
Photographer and Crazy Horse artistic director Ali Mahdavi, meanwhile, said his career is at a “turning point” after filming a short movie called “Forbidden Love,” due out in September, that stars Dita Von Teese. Mahdavi hopes to go on to make feature films in the future.
