SWEET DREAMS: Anna Sui is taking on home, and her first outing is bedding, which just launched at her SoHo boutique, as well as on annasui.com. Sui was inspired by a trip to India with three of her nieces last summer. “I had always loved hand-printed textiles from India, and I came up with these ideas, which turned into this little bedding collection,” Sui said. The offering includes quilts, sheets, pillows, travel bags and Euro shams with floral and paisley prints in Sui’s signature purple and black. Priced from $53 for a small pillow cover to $427 for a dorm set, which includes a drawstring bag, quilt, bed cover and quilted sham. “I hope everyone’s dreams will be sweeter in Anna Sui sheets,” Sui said, laughing.
It won’t be her last foray into the home. “I’d love to do sheets, towels and wallpaper,” Sui said.
