FRESH START: French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is keeping mum on rumored contenders for his brand, which has entered into receivership. French media reports said potential bidders included Dominique Bergin, president of bicycle maker Look Cycle; South Korean sportswear designer and retailer EXR Korea Co., and Florida-based Falic Group, which owns Christian Lacroix. De Castelbajac had said last month that two companies were in the running, one French and one Asian, but he declined to identify them further.
