STYLEBISTRO TO LAUNCH “TV FASHION”: StyleBistro will introduce “TV Fashion” today, a section on its site that allows users to locate images and credits from the outfits worn on various hit TV shows. Fashions from 12 series will be available upon the launch — including “The Voice,” “Glee,” “90210,” “Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” “American Idol,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Fashion Star,” “Modern Family” and “Revenge” — with the site linking to a direct point of purchase. In a case where the actual item might not be available via e-commerce, suggestions for similar product will be made. “TV Fashion” will also feature interviews with stylists from the above shows to give users a behind-the-scenes look at the characters’ personal styles and inspiration. StyleBistro has built the software that currently is able to ingest and tag millions of pieces of photo content to be used by its editorial team.
