STITCH IN TIME: Stitch, the women’s apparel trade show in Las Vegas, is hitting the East Coast. It will be launched during the September market week at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.

Stitch is part of BJI Fashion Group’s exhibitions, which include Fame for junior/young contemporary, Moda for modern lifestyle and Edit, which launched in February, for the luxury women’s market.

Stitch will feature affordable luxury brands with a contemporary edge. Among the companies that will participate in the September launch are MC Planet, Deca Paris, Cop. Copine, E Victor Gabriel, Donna Degnan, Nally & Millie and Komarov.

“With the addition of Stitch NY, we are fulfilling BJI’s long-term vision and bringing clarity to the marketplace in all rtw segments,” said Britton Jones, president and chief executive officer of BJI Fashion Group.

Stitch will launch Sept. 14 to Sept. 16 at the Javits Center, and will run concurrently with BJI’s sister properties: AccessoriesTheShow, Moda, Fame and Edit. It will also take place in February 2015.
