CRITICAL DARLINGS: Stars bucked the trends at Thursday night’s Critics Choice Awards by sporting an array of styles on the red carpet. From Michelle Williams’ classic black-and-white Chanel column to Elle Fanning’s bohemian daisy covered caftan, no two were alike. Shailene Woodley chose a minimal Calvin Klein Collection gown with silver hardware, saying, “I feel like a warrior. If I had a bow and arrow and I could seriously go hunting right now.” Another young star, Elizabeth Olsen, chose her yellow Emilio Pucci dress to match her sunny outlook. “It just reminds me of L.A. It’s warm here even in January,” she said. Olsen said she didn’t ask her sisters for style advice because, “I’m pretty decisive when it comes to what I want to wear.” “ ‘What are you wearing?’ is his favorite question,” joked George Clooney’s date Stacy Keibler. “I spent six hours on this,” he said, gesturing to his Armani tux. “No, really, it’s much harder for girls. I don’t give her style advice. Mostly it’s just: ‘Hurry up.’”
