SPRING IN MIND: A group of well-heeled New Yorkers gathered Tuesday night at Bergdorf Goodman’s BG Restaurant to celebrate the New Yorkers for Children’s annual spring dance: “New Year’s in April, A Fool’s Fête,” which will take place on April 10. Sponsored by New Yorkers for Children and designer CD Greene, Tuesday night’s cocktail drew a gaggle of city socials, including Tinsley Mortimer, Chris Del Gatto, Veronica Webb, Alexis Bryan Morgan, Gillian Minter and Allison Aston. “I know this is a glamorous event, but it’s also a very important issue,” said CNN journalist and charity co-chair Alina Cho. Clad in a matte gold paillette dress by CD Greene and vintage pearl and gold Chanel drop earrings, Cho worked the room with her mom, who wore a black dress, also made by Greene, by her side.
“She get a lot of attention when she wears my gowns,” said Greene, motioning to Cho. “I get a lot of my inspiration from nature and from sea life. Anything natural.”
