THE CARLOS CONNECTION: Solange Azagury-Partridge is moving to Carlos Place, by Mount Street, in London’s Mayfair. The jewelry designer, who currently has a pop-up shop at 99 New Bond Street, will take over a whole building at number 5 Carlos Place, across the street from the Connaught hotel and near Roland Mouret’s headquarters and shop. The new space spans about 5,000 square feet and will house the designer’s boutique on the ground and first floors, a workshop, production facilities and the head office. The designer, who got the keys on Friday, said the builders will begin work shortly, and she’s hoping to move in late July or early August. It will be Azagury-Partridge’s first permanent space since she bought back the stake that Labelux GmbH had held in her fine jewelry brand last December. Solange was founded in 1995 and acquired by Labelux in 2008. Under Labelux, the brand rolled out a string of boutiques, including a flagship at 162 New Bond Street, which is now closed. Azagury-Partridge also operates a wholesale business with a select list of clients.
