St. Regis New York to Unveil Dior Suite

The new 1,700-square-foot suite was inspired by the label’s ateliers in Paris.

SO DIOR: The St. Regis New York will soon be tucking in guests to its new Dior suite, a 1,700-square-foot space inspired by Dior’s ateliers in Paris. Aside from using “whispering gray” as a key color, there mirrors and wall sconces with the house’s signature bows and the Lady Dior cannage pattern on bedroom furniture. There will also be a watercolor painting by Bill Donovan, who became Dior Beauty’s first artist-in-residence in 2009. Dior lovers will have to plunk down $8,500 for a one-night stay in the suite, which has a bedroom, one and a half baths, a spacious dining room and a living room. But they certainly will save cab money, since the Fifth Avenue hotel is only a short walk to the Christian Dior boutique.
