Roisin Murphy was a front-row fixture during Europe’s ready-to-wear shows in October, and now the fashion-hungry singer looks set for an even closer view of the action during Paris couture week next month. Next week, designer Alexandre Vauthier will head to London for fittings with Murphy, who is due to walk in his debut couture show in Paris on Jan. 28. Currently creative director of French rtw brand Lilith, Vauthier previously worked as first assistant to Thierry Mugler, followed by an eight-year stint as chief designer of Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture department.
