SEEING RED: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Friday wrapped up their two-day visit to Scotland, where they attended the launch of the Tamar Manoukin Outdoor Centre with the Prince of Wales. The elder prince addressed a crowd of local citizens and 600 youth group members at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, the site of the new center. The duchess donned a red Giorgio Armani coat and a scarf bearing the Strathearn tartan, a nod to her Scottish title. In Scotland, the duke and duchess are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. She also wore black Aquatalia by Marvin K. boots and black tights, a departure from her usual nude stockings. Then again, it’s freezing up in Scotland and she’s six months pregnant. Press Association quoted the duchess as saying that her maternity leave from royal duties will begin around mid-June and that the baby is due in the middle of July.
