Avius Rock C’N’C Costume National

Sebastian Brice's rock band Avius provided live music at this year's Milan show.

A SHOT OF CAFFEINE: Though he did not set foot on the catwalk, model Sebastian Brice had a starring role at Ennio Capasa’s C’N’C Costume National show in Milan. Brice’s rock band Avius provided the live music for the show, set in a tent next to the Duomo cathedral. “That was really cool,” he said afterwards. “We had to time everything quite well.” Up next for the band is the Oxjam festival in London on Oct. 29.

Front-row guests included actress Stefania Rocca, who is the partner of Ennio Capasa’s brother, Costume National chief executive officer Carlo Capasa. Also present was designer Fabio Novembre, who has been working on an exhibition and book celebrating the 20th anniversary of Italian coffee company Lavazza’s collectible calendar. The retrospective, to be inaugurated Oct. 12 at the Triennale, is to feature photographs by the likes of Helmut Newton, David LaChapelle, Elliott Erwitt and Annie Leibovitz. “We’ve been working on it for almost one year,” said Novembre.
