SCHOOL MISTRESS: The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to her former school in Berkshire, England, on Friday to meet students and teachers and to open a new artificial Astroturf playing field. For her visit to St. Andrews, the duchess wore a tartan Alexander McQueen frock coat with knee-high black suede boots. During her visit, she confessed that her days at the school were some of her happiest, saying, “I enjoyed it so much that when I had to leave, I told my mother that I was going to come back to be a teacher.”

She also told students that she and her sister, Pippa, kept guinea pigs while at school. One called Pip, after her sibling, and the other named Squeak, Catherine’s apparent nickname.
