RUMBLINGS AT RICHEMONT: Emmanuel Perrin is said to be replacing Frédéric de Narp as president and chief executive officer of Cartier North America, according to sources. On Thursday, a Cartier spokeswoman characterized as “rumors” news reports that de Narp may be exiting the company. De Narp was named president and ceo of Cartier North America in 2005. He has been with Cartier since 1991.
In 2005 Perrin was named president and ceo of Van Cleef & Arpels, which, like Cartier, is owned by Richemont. Perrin has served various roles within Richemont since 1992. Spokespeople at Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels declined to comment Monday.
