RUFFIAN IN SEASON: For Saturday’s debut of their e-commerce site, Ruffian’s Claude Morais and Brian Wolk will throw in a few looks right off the runway. As soon as their 9 a.m. show wraps up at Lincoln Center, shoppers will be able to buy $95 scarves with a Williamsburg Toile Du Jouy by American painter John Gordon Gauld and six different $65 Victorian Punk-inspired T-shirts.
Fans of the brand will also find boleros, beaded vintage-inspired collars and other ready-to-wear, jewelry and accessories from the fall collection. Delving into e-commerce is part of the expansion plan Ruffian’s chief operating officer Ben Huston mapped out this summer to sell the label beyond the usual retail avenues.
