IN STEP: Louis Vuitton is swooping into Milan on Saturday, when Men’s fashion week gets under way, to unveil a new service: made-to-order shoes. The French luxury giant is also hosting a dinner to introduce its ambassador for the project: Luchino Visconti di Modrone, a nephew of the legendary Italian filmmaker. Di Modrone, who owns and manages a film and commercial production company, is said to have inherited his uncle’s penchant for Vuitton travel products.
