Robyn at H&M... Louis Vuitton's Shoe Service... NHL, John Varvatos Team Up...

Expect some mayhem at the H&M Fifth Avenue store Sunday when the flagship hosts a free concert by Swedish pop star Robyn.

ROBYN AT H&M: Expect some mayhem at the H&M Fifth Avenue store Sunday when the flagship hosts a free concert by Swedish pop star Robyn. The in-store performance will start at noon and the “Dancing on My Own” singer will also sign autographs for two hours. Fans will be admitted on a first-come basis to the multilevel store with a soaring atrium, which should provide lots of good sight lines for the concert. Robyn previously starred in the H&M Fashion Against AIDS advertising campaign in 2009.

IN STEP: Louis Vuitton is swooping into Milan on Saturday, when Men’s fashion week gets under way, to unveil a new service: made-to-order shoes. The French luxury giant is also hosting a dinner to introduce its ambassador for the project: Luchino Visconti di Modrone, a nephew of the legendary Italian filmmaker. Di Modrone, who owns and manages a film and commercial production company, is said to have inherited his uncle’s penchant for Vuitton travel products.

ICE KINGS: The NHL is heightening its fashion sense. The hockey league has teamed with John Varvatos to dress 2011 NHL Awards host Jay Mohr as well as several nominees including Dustin Brown of the Los Angeles Kings, Logan Couture of the San Jose Sharks, Michael Grabner of the New York Islanders, Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks, Corey Perry of the Anaheim Ducks and Jeff Skinner of the Carolina Hurricanes. In addition, seventeen.com is running an online contest asking fans to cast their vote for which Varvatos outfit Skinner, a 19-year-old player who is known as the Justin Bieber of hockey, should wear to the awards. The event will air on Versus in the U.S. and the CBC in Canada on June 22.

ERIC DEPENDENT: After one-off design stints with Diesel, Borsalino and footwear brand Arfango, Italia Independent has tapped designer Eric Wright for an ongoing collaboration. Wright’s first effort will bow on June 20, during the Milan spring men’s collections. A protégé of Karl Lagerfeld, the San Francisco-born designer has worked for Roberto Cavalli, Fendi and Trussardi.
