CAVALLI SETS THE TABLE: Guests at Russell and Danny Simmons’ annual Art For Life benefit Saturday will walk away with a Roberto Cavalli-printed scarf. The designer also provided the table linens for this year’s bash at Fairview Farms in Bridgehampton.
Creative Time’s Anne Pasternak, filmmaker Tyler Perry and Demarest Films’ Samuel Englebardt and William D. Johnson will be honored, with CNN’s Soledad O’Brien serving as emcee. But the real entertainment will be provided by Maxwell, Estelle and Rick Ross.
Cavalli won’t be among the revelers but he sent a floral design to compliment the party’s theme of “A Field of Dreams.” The designer said via email, “Art is a beautiful way for children to express themselves and opens up the door to infinite possibilities. I hope that with this Field of Dreams event we can help make their dreams come true.”
