EATING WITH CAVALLI: Roberto Cavalli continues to expand its entertainment business.

The Tuscan designer has opened a new Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge on the island of Ibiza, Spain.

Located in the luxury Ibiza Marina area, the designer’s new spot includes an open-air restaurant, serving Italian dishes with Tuscan influences and the Cavalli family’s Tenuta Degli Dei red wine. There is also a lounge area and a club, where guests will enjoy music and cocktails prepared with the Roberto Cavalli Vodka.

“The pleasure of listening to enjoyable music, accompanied by great food and good company in an elegant and sophisticated setting ... This is the philosophy of the Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge,” Cavalli said. “I wanted to communicate all my passion for beauty and sensuality combining them in a hospitality project in Ibiza.”

Nestled in a 21,528-square-foot garden with 500 plants, including jasmines, honeysuckles and magnolias, the restaurant-cum-nightclub is decorated with  Cavalli’s signature style. While zebra and jaguar printed fabrics cover the chairs, the tables show cloths in eight different floral motifs. In addition, the different rooms are decorated with tableware, cushions, wallpapers and floorings part of the designer's Home collection.

The company, which already directly operates two Cavalli Caffé in Florence and Saint Tropez, along with additional spots managed through licenses in Kuwait City, Beirut, Dubai and New Delhi, is set to open Caffès in Riyadh, Bahrain and Doha. In addition, the company also counts two Cavalli Clubs in Milan and Dubai under license, as well as a Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge in Miami.
