Carolina Irving Joins Oscar de la Renta

She will take over the role of creative director of home, effective immediately.

RIGHT AT HOME: Carolina Irving has signed with Oscar de la Renta LLC as creative director of home, effective immediately. In her new post, she will handle the creative direction and execution of the Oscar de la Renta Home collection, including its Gift & Entertaining collection that is produced in-house; the furniture line made by Century Furniture; home fabrics and wallpaper with Lee Jofa, and rugs produced by Elson & Co.

Irving takes over for interior designer Miles Redd, who has served as creative director of Oscar de la Renta Home since 2003. He has resigned to focus on his own interior design business. Oscar de la Renta said, “While Miles Redd has done an excellent job here and we will miss him tremendously, I can think of no better person than Carolina to continue to develop our Home collection. Her taste is fabulous.”
