PAS DE DEUX: The French ballet shoe brand Repetto is set to launch its first ready-to-wear collection inspired by dancers’ clothing.
The collection will get a preview on Nov. 28 on the brand’s e-shop and in a selection of Repetto shops starting Dec. 5.
Called “Garde-Robe Repetto," (or “The Repetto Wardrobe” in English), the collection was created by Emilie Luc-Duc and spans 19 pieces, including tied and draped tops, corset-like knitting, layers of superimposed fabrics and a color range of powdery pastels.
Prices range from 200 to 250 euros for the tops, or $254 to $318 at current exchange rates. Dresses are priced from 290 to 420 euros, or $369 to $534, and skirts will retail at 250 euros, or $318.
