Backstage at a fashion show is always frenzied. But on Monday, Carolina Herrera's models were dressed and ready, just as calm and cool as could be.

Special front row guest Renee Zellweger, however, was missing.

"Oh, come on, where is she," Herrera pleaded, twenty-five minutes after the 10 am call time. Staffers told her she was coming. "Coming from where?"

Finally, the Oscar winning actress arrived in a dress Herrera made specially  for her and air kisses were promptly exchanged. The two women mingled among the models waiting in line and joked that, surprise, Zellweger was the finale.

"Carolina's clothes are classic and comfortable," said Zellweger, who is between films and just flew in from the Toronto Film Festival. "[My loyalty] is not a façade."
