Ralph Lauren Holds Charity Shopping Event... Prada's Royal Flush...

A lunch for Ralph Lauren's Pink Pony breast cancer charity draws Emily Oppenheimer, Lola Figueras and Annouchka Staveley in London.

IN THE PINK: “These would be great for a mad dance class I’ve just started,” said Tamara Beckwith, pointing to a pair of Ralph Lauren exercise leggings at the designer’s Westbourne Grove store in London. “But it’s just for exercise — we’re not trying to form a new girl band or anything.” Earlier this week, Beckwith and her pal Emily Compton hosted a clutch of London socialites, including Emily Oppenheimer, Lola Figueras and Annouchka Staveley, for a lunch to mark the 10th anniversary of Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony breast cancer charity. All proceeds from items purchased at the store on Monday went toward the label’s U.K. breast cancer charity for this year, Too Many Women. In addition, 20 percent of the profits of the label’s Pink Pony products sold in the U.K. throughout the coming year will be donated to Too Many Women, along with all the profits from four limited edition pink products, including a pink alligator Ricky 33 bag. Ralph Lauren is also holding an online auction this month to benefit the Pink Pony Fund, which supports breast cancer research and treatment. The auction runs through October 21.
