DUNDAS DEAL: Pucci creative director Peter Dundas experienced a very New York tradition — a big Halloween bash. Dundas, in town this week to celebrate the Pucci shop-in-shop at Saks Fifth Avenue, joined hosts Kanye West and model Anja Rubik at the Gypsy-themed shindig Monday night.
“I wore a hat, a waistcoat and a trainer jacket,” he said.
The fun continued on Tuesday night, when Dundas, with co-host Glenda Bailey, greeted guests at the 450-square-foot space on Saks’ third floor. Rubik, Coco Rocha and Laudomia Pucci joined the designer, while a Pucci-clad Alexa Chung DJed and a few models walked through the space in spring 2012 looks as part of a trunk show.
“It’s an amazing business for us,” said Saks’ group senior vice president and general merchandise manager Joseph Boitano. “We introduced Pucci to the New York store a year. Our customer loves the new direction — the color, the sexiness and the use of the print in new ways.”
