TROPHY CASE: Diane von Furstenberg is on something of a streak in the spring party season. A few months after picking up amfAR’s Award of Courage in February, the designer next week will receive the 2011 Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal from the Municipal Art Society of New York at its annual spring fund-raising gala. The foundation presents the yearly award to an “individual whose work or deeds have made an outstanding contribution to the built environment of New York City.” It chose to honor von Furstenberg for her role in the redevelopment of the Meatpacking District, as well as her work in support of the High Line. The black-tie soirée will take place April 28 at the New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
