Prince Charles Honors Stephen Webster

The jeweler received the honor of Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, or MBE, at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.

CROWN JEWELER: Prince Charles awarded British jeweler Stephen Webster with the honor of Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, or MBE, at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday for his services to training and skills in the British jewelry industry.

‘To be awarded an MBE for craftsmanship and training in the jewelry industry is a great honor and means so much to me and everyone at Stephen Webster,” said the jeweler. “We have a passion for the craft and skills required to be great jewelers. I have always enjoyed passing on the knowledge which I have acquired throughout my career to people entering this amazing business.”

Webster is also creative director of Garrard, the world’s oldest jewelry house, and curator of the British Fashion Council’s Rock Vault, a showcase of fine jewelry during London Fashion Week.
