PRINCE AT THE PALAIS: Fashion shows weren’t the sole reason that Prince made the rounds during Paris Fashion Week. The singer, who took in the Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel shows and swung by the Fendi party on Tuesday, just announced two impromptu concerts the Grand Palais this Sunday — at 5 p.m. and at 10 p.m. Tickets for the shows will go on sale in Paris today. Could Karl Lagerfeld and Stefano Pilati be returning the favor and grace the front row at the show?

GUESS HELPS INVISIBLE CHILDREN: Next month, Guess will launch special edition men’s T-shirts and women’s tank tops to benefit education and economic rebuilding in the war-ravaged African nation of Uganda. The organic cotton men’s T-shirts and women’s tank tops will be sold in all U.S. Guess stores and online starting in early November. All proceeds from shirt sales will benefit Invisible Children, a San Diego-based nonprofit organization that supports education and economic development in Uganda primarily through youth-oriented outreach programs, including scholarship programs, internships, teacher exchanges and the rebuilding of 11 secondary schools in northern Uganda to date.

Guess is in its third year of partnership with Invisible Children; the Ts will sell for $29 and tanks for $26. The denim and lifestyle brand first partnered with Invisible Children in October 2006, after Caroline and Olivia Marciano, daughters of Guess founder Maurice Marciano, saw a documentary made by the nonprofit’s founders on the plight of Ugandan youth in northern areas of the war-torn country. The shirts are being manufactured in Uganda by Edun Live, the sister brand to U2 front man Bono and wife Ali Hewson’s Edun. Guess will host an in-store event in Beverly Hills on Oct. 22 to highlight the cause, hosted by Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson with musical guest Pete Wentz.
