On Tuesday night, Michelle Obama gave another nod to the New York fashion business when she stepped out on stage after her Barack Obama's victory speech in a black and red embroidered dress from Narciso
Rodriguez's spring 2009 collection.

Obama's style has been much watched in recent months, as the next first lady has dressed in looks by Maria Pinto, Thakoon and Isabel Toledo, among others.
