PORTS' CLOSET SHOPPERS: Ports 1961 picked up some on-the-spot sales during the “Girls Unplugged” dinner Tuesday night in its West Chelsea showroom. About 240 women turned up for the Relish-catered dinner and a "business chic" fashion show that was presented by Ipsos and Advertising Week. With their first album just out, Icona Pop’s Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjel dropped by to give a girl power speech and pass out free CDs. After checking out the runway looks, attendees wrangled Ports 1961’s Eddie Parsons into checking out the sample closet. Six different times the intrepid executive led 10 women at a time through, letting them try on styles and place orders. By the time the last guest headed home around 1 a.m., 100 pieces had been sold at his unexpected trunk show.
