PORTER GREY SHUTTERS: Porter Grey, the contemporary line designed by Alexandra and Kristen O’Neill, is closing down after the current fall collection. In a joint statement e-mailed on Monday, the sisters said: “We truly appreciate the support that you have shown over the years and look forward to letting you know in the next few months what we have planned for the future. Porter Grey has been such an incredible experience for us, from starting the company while we were still in college to watching the line grow every season.”
The duo launched the label, named after their great-grandmother Catherine Porter Grey, for fall 2006.
