PONY PAY: Ralph Lauren’s total pay fell by 28 percent, but the chairman and chief executive officer of Ralph Lauren Corp. still pulled in $26.2 million last year. Lauren’s take included a salary of $1.6 million and cash incentive pay of $10.8 million. The designer also received stock awards valued at $9 million and options valued at $4.5 million, although the full value of that income might not be realized given stock price fluctuations.
In the prior year, Lauren’s pay totaled $36.3 million, making him the fourth-highest-paid executive at a publicly traded U.S. fashion company, according to WWD’s tally. Roger Farah, president and chief operating officer, saw his total pay fall 8.7 percent to $17.8 million, and compensation for Jackwyn Nemerov, executive vice president, dipped 2.5 percent to $11.8 million.
