Procter & Gamble's Global Prestige division has paired up with Vogue Italia for Beauty in Wonderland, an exhibition held at Milan's fifteenth-century Casa degli Atellani. The inauguration, set for this evening, will see P&G Global Prestige president Joanne Crewes and Vogue Italia's editor in chief Franca Sozzani welcoming guests including actresses Cate Blanchett and Blake Lively, models David Gandy, Alex Lundqvist and Bianca Balti, and sailing champion Alex Thomson for cocktails. The décor will feature a range of artistic installations, paper and flower sculptures, pop-up books and projections of photographs by Sølve Sundsbø, all on public display from 10:00 am to 6 pm Sept. 20 free of charge.
"We are happy to have the opportunity to welcome the public the day after the inauguration, so that everyone can enjoy the concept of beauty in every shape and form," said Sozzani. "Beauty and fashion are inspired by and are the fabric of dreams," said Crewes, adding: "From Singapore to New York, passing through Milan, to some extent dreams are universal. Whether they are inspired by nature or driven by technology, the beautiful and precious things such as those created here in Milan with Vogue Italia show how beauty can add richness and texture to our lives."
