PARTING WAYS: Trussardi Group and Umit Benan Sahin have consensually terminated their collaboration with the fall collection just unveiled at Milan Fashion Week and praised by retailers and press. The agreement ended at the natural expiration of the contract. Benan Sahin joined the Italian firm two years ago.

As of Thursday, Gaia Trussardi is to take on the role of creative director. Trussardi, daughter of the late Nicola Trussardi, who reshaped the family business he had inherited from his father, is a shareholder and member of the board of the group for which she currently supervises all creative aspects, from advertising campaigns to style. She remains creative director of the Tru Trussardi line. Her siblings Beatrice and Tomaso are, respectively, president and chief executive officer of Trussardi, and ceo of TRS Evolution, the Trussardi Group company that produces the brand’s first and second lines of clothing and accessories
