ROCK THE PALACE: Mick Jagger, Léa Seydoux, Elle Macpherson, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Louboutin and Bethy Lagardère were among the glitterati that partied into the wee hours of Sunday morning at Paris nightclub Le Palace, a popular haunt for the fashion crowd in the Seventies and early Eighties.
The occasion was to celebrate the marriage of Farida Khelfa, spokeswoman for the Schiaparelli fashion house, to her long-time partner Henri Seydoux, a technology entrepreneur.
The nuptials and party were closed to the press, but guests told WWD over the weekend that Khelfa wore a Gaultier dress for the ceremony, with Macpherson as maid of honor. The lavish party featured a laser light show over the dance floor, and a frenetic performance by British singer-songwriter Mika.
Schiaparelli, owned by Italian fashion titan Diego Della Valle, is gearing up for a re-launch and is expected to name its designer this fall, with the first collection unveiled early next year.
