PARIS BOUND: Parsons The New School for Design will establish a new academic center in Paris. Beginning in fall 2013, Parsons Paris will offer both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs taught in English and based on the curriculum on the Parsons’ New York campus. Paris is no stranger to Parsons: The school became the first American art and design school to establish a campus in Paris in 1921. Parsons Paris is located in a newly renovated historic building at 45 rue Saint-Roch. Classes will be held there and at locations throughout Paris. In addition to Parsons Paris, the university is developing projects in Mumbai, Shanghai, and other major urban centers.
